Galaxy Driving Academy (“we”, “us”, “our”) provides driving lessons and related services in the United Kingdom. By using our website, contacting us, booking lessons, or purchasing a lesson package, you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”).
Last updated: 23 December 2025
Student/You: the person receiving lessons or making a booking.
Lessons/Services: driving lessons and related services provided by us or our instructors.
Package: a bundle of lessons purchased together.
Instructor: a driving instructor working with/for Galaxy Driving Academy.
You must be legally eligible to take driving lessons in the UK. You are responsible for ensuring you hold the required documentation for lessons (e.g., a valid UK provisional driving licence where applicable).
Bookings can be made via our website, phone, email, or messaging channels.
A booking is confirmed once we confirm availability and receive full payment.
We will try to accommodate preferred times and pick-up locations, but these are subject to availability and operational constraints.
Prices are as advertised or confirmed at the time of booking.
Full payment is required in advance for single lessons and packages. We do not take deposits.
If you pay by card or online method, payment processing is handled by third-party providers. We do not usually store full card details.
We reserve the right to correct pricing errors and to update pricing for future bookings.
Packages are non-transferable unless we agree otherwise in writing.
Packages may have a validity period if stated at the time of purchase.
If you wish to change instructors, we will try to accommodate this, subject to availability.
To be fair to instructors and students, the following rules apply:
Student cancellations/reschedules: You must give at least 2 days’ notice (48 hours) to cancel or reschedule a lesson.
If you cancel with less than 48 hours’ notice, do not attend, or are unavailable at the agreed time/location, the lesson may be charged and/or deducted from your package.
If you are late, the lesson may be shortened to avoid delaying other bookings, and the full lesson may still be charged.
Instructor cancellations: If an instructor needs to cancel (e.g., illness, vehicle issues), we will offer a reschedule. Where appropriate, a refund may be provided for the cancelled lesson.
Pick-up and drop-off locations must be safe, legal, and suitable for stopping.
If the agreed location is unsafe or illegal, the instructor may request an alternative nearby location.
Lessons are delivered in the instructor’s vehicle, and the instructor will be present during the lesson.
The vehicle may have dual controls where applicable.
You agree to:
Follow the instructor’s reasonable instructions and safety guidance.
Not attend lessons under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
Treat instructors and staff with respect. Abusive, threatening, discriminatory, or unsafe behaviour may result in lessons being terminated and future bookings refused. Charges may still apply for terminated lessons.
You must tell us before your lesson if there is anything that may affect your ability to drive safely (e.g., illness, medication, injury). If the instructor believes it is unsafe to proceed, the lesson may be cancelled/rescheduled for safety reasons.
If we provide a car for your practical driving test:
You must inform us of the test date/time in advance and meet any notice requirements we provide.
You must complete a pre-test lesson or assessment.
Our vehicles can only be used if the instructor believes you’re fully prepared. We reserve the right to withhold the use of our cars if you’re not test ready.
Refund eligibility depends on what you purchased and whether lessons have been taken.
For package refunds, lessons already taken may be charged at the standard single-lesson rate, and the remaining balance may be refunded.
Refunds are not available for late cancellations/no-shows (see section 6), except where required by law.
If you have a concern, please contact us at admin@galaxydriving.co.uk and include your name, lesson date/time, and details of the issue. We will aim to resolve it promptly.
